Misool Resort has an exciting opportunity for a Reservations Agent to become part of our small, dedicated team.

This is a full-time, remote position for someone who is passionate about delivering impeccable service to our guests, both before and after their journey to our private island resort in South Raja Ampat.

About the role

Misool Resort is an award-winning dive resort and conservation center located in Raja Ampat, Indonesia in the heart of marine biodiversity.

As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a key role in shaping their experience from the very first enquiry. You will join a small, collaborative team responsible for managing direct bookings and guiding guests at every stage of their journey, from initial interest through to arrival and beyond.

This role is highly detail-oriented and guest-focused. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for responding to guest enquiries via email, providing accurate and timely information, sending invoices, requesting and managing pre-travel details, and answering a wide range of guest questions. You will ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards of care, professionalism, and warmth that define the Misool experience.

Working remotely across multiple time zones, you will need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

requirements

  • Two years of tourism/hospitalityexperience in a related position 

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English in a clear and fluent manner – native English speaker preferred 

  • Must have excellent people-skills and be able to create a positive working relationship with other people 

  • Exceptional written communication skills 

  • Meticulous, organized, reliable, and accountable 

  • Excellent time-management skills & attention to detail

  • Must have a stable, reliable remote work environment appropriate for focus and attention to tasks at hand
